We found this through tripadvisor and it lived up to the good reviews!! The pecorino with honey is lovely as was the bresaola. The chicken main course was excellent and a few of us had pasta that was delicous too

Tables and decor are very contempory. More like a very casual restaurant. The tagliata (steak) was very good but the ossobuco was very bad. Instead of tender meat around a bone it was more a steak around a bone. It is supposed to be so tender that you should cut it with your fork but we have to use a...

It was the menu that attracted us here. We had planned on going to another restaraunt, Da Divo, but when it came to it we didnt fancy there menu. Osteria Del Gustos had a large choice in all sections and the prices were very reasonable, When the food came it was beautifully cooked. We choose a mixed bruschetta dish to...

Really enjoyed the food here. The grilled pork was wonderful and chocolate dessert was such that we wanted to lick the plate. We did not have reservations and they were very accommodating (mid-week). We'd go again.
Very good food, good prices. This place is not tourist-y - real Italians were eating here! I had Pici (basically thick spaghetti) in tomato, olive, and garlic sauce. Yummy! Very nice staff, prompt service. Just a great experience. One of the best restaurants I found in Italy.
We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner away from the Piazza del Campo tourist traps & the one we had in mind was closed; this was nearby & had a few couples inside so we decided to give it a try. Quite modern décor, service casual but friendly, and food good. Thumbs up!
Excellent pici and pesto! Wonderful attentive service, nice wine selection, very clean, lovely palio photography.
Small neighbourhood restaurant, around the corner from the duomo. Excellent service and a good house red. I had the eggplant tarte as starter, beautifully presented with a twisted 'rope' of buffalo mozzarella. Good pasta as well. Lots of locals eating there, not so touristy.
My husband and I were strolling around looking for a place to have lunch before returning to Livorno and the ferry home. This was a wonderful find. Out of season it was quiet - which is what we like and the food was fantastic. Every mouthful was a delight. I cant remember the names of most of the dishes but...

I've made reservations for a Sunday lunch at Osteria del Gusto, just before a football match. We are Italian and therefore not in the mood for the "typical touristic places", but rather a traditional/Italian way of lunch.
The Osteria del Gusto is perfect for this: no tourist-meals, just genuine Tuscan food.
Even though it is “only” an osteria, the dishes...
