Had an excellent lunch here with a fairly large group. Friendly staff and good food. Be careful of the pork ribs with gorgonzola sauce -- they may taste good but everyone else at your table may not enjoy the smell.

Wonderfully presented exquisite cuisine. Very well presented, knowledgeable waiting staff...the desserts are yummy beyond belief. Great wine list too. Very interesting quaint decoration with a number of retro/antiques displayed here and there. Highly recommended
After many (25) years of trying to find a really good restaurant in Siena (and being horribly disappointed) the search is finally over. I can genuinely say that the two meals that we ate at PorriOne last week were probably amongst the best that I have ever eaten anywhere. The zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta had the most vividly tomato...

We were tired of risking another average meal, so finally bothered checking out some reviews and looking at a map! PorriOne is pretty central, a short walk from the main open area in the city. The staff were welcoming (without a reservation) and although busy, we didn't have to wait very long to be seated. Both of our mains were...

As other reviewers have noted, we ate at PorriOne, as the “rated” establishment across the street was closed on Sunday. Again, I am so glad we did, as IMHO, the place across the street shows a degree of pomposity and arrogance towards potential customers, that should, (if there were any justice), render it eternally empty.
However, I'm not here to...

Went here after we were turned away from Osteria Le Logge across the way (even though they seemed to have plenty of room for us...)
Anyway, we couldn't have been more delighted. Accommodated our large group with kids at an outside table and, when asked, made excellent suggestions for wine and food. Everyone agreed the anchovy spaghetti was one of...

Did most of the better restaurants in Sienna, Le Logge, Da Divo and others, this was by far the best. a nice twist on many dishes with some great variations. The food was superb and so was the service, The restaurant is well presented and just of the the Campo. Very good we went back a second time. The service...

Ok, let's get real here. You're in Italy and have loved the pizza and pasta. It's time to try the other dishes, and this is the place. We ordered 2 courses and got a pre-first (for free, I guess their version of an amuse bouche), of sliced porcini mushrooms, very yummy. The stuffed zuchini flowers were not fried and therefore...

With the temperature topping 30ºC in the square we were looking for somewhere cool for a 'nice' lunch. Although not cheap and with a wine list to rival most restaurants in the world this was a real find. The three different pasta dishes that we had were all magnificent. My sapaghetti with anchovies, pistachios, black truffle and parmisan will certainly...

we started with fiori di zucca with ricotta filling..and they were fantastic.unfortunately the two following pasta dishes (vegtables / safran with mushrooms) were below average. we also had better tiramisu on our italy tour. wine list is huge but very overpriced compared to other locations. atmosphere is nice and the service was very good though. maybe they just had a...
