“Italian ice really rocks on the other side of the square too!”

As I explained in my review of the Gelateria Dondoli and so forth, they serve most excellent ice cream. But, on the other side of the square another gelateria, dell'Olmo serves ice cream as well. Which tastes superb as well, but lacks a little bit in atmosphere, when compared to Dondoli. Oh well, you're going to visit for the product... More

We've eaten gelato in dozens of places around Italy and would agree that the gelato here is probably the best all-around in Italy. We enjoyed a lot of gelato during our visit to Italy, but this was truly the best. We recomment the hazelnut and the blood orange, but it was all tasty. More

I'm not sure if it lives up to the billing of 'best gelato in the world', but it was good. Good selection of flavors, and always has a crowd around it. Nice mid-afternoon break from walking around the beautiful city. More
