We came here on a recommendation from a friend and it was lovely food. No pizza but just really great flavours. The menu was all Italian but the waitress translated everything for us and was able to suggest things that our two boys would like as well. Was good value for money and the house red very drinkable. Toilets amazingly... More

On two visits we vere very pleased with the quality. This was by far the best experience during our stay in Pisa. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. No pizzas - just traditional Tuscan food. We especially liked "Fantasia di mare caldo", "Corneglio alla cacciatora" and "Tagliata di mucco alla rucola"

We went there for a lunch - it was packed with Italian grandma's at the front section and immediately we know that this place would be great. We had bruschetta with mixed toppings (as far as I can remember - courgette flowers, mashed liver, warm lardo, and chopped tomatoes). It was simple but gooood. For primi, my bf had agnelotti... More

Da Cucciolo is not easy to find for tourists, but if you do it is worth the trouble. The food is made fresh with ample choices among the pasta, meat, and fish. Some items might not be available, so you know the others are fresh. Good table wine at a fair price, and nice local ambience. The family who runs... More

Stylish but comfortable restaurant off the beaten tourist track, frequented by locals; fine dining and friendly service.

We went here because of all the good reviews but were actually disappointed. The food is fine but we found it fairly average (we had the calamari, meat with parmesan and some ravioli). The meals we ordered weren't anything special. The atmosphere also felt a bit strange as it was very quiet and you could hear everything being said at... More

Superb, healthy, friendly and delicious are keywords. Our daughter recommended this restaurant and we went twice. House wine is good and only 4 euros per mezza litre. Bruschetta is excellent and tasty. Pasta with mussels tastes great. Calamari highly recommended. Chocolate cake is expensive but worth it. Grappa was compliments of the owner, whose mama is in the kitchen.

Service was great, the food was personalized to what we wanted and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. The server/owner even chased us out to our car to say good night and wave us off! Great place to go for a meal.

This restaurant is very small but the food is absolutely delicious and cheap. We had bruschette miste and torte di verdure as starters, cinghiale (wild boar) and tagliata al mucco pisano con pioppini mushroom (fantastic, the best tagliata I have ever had in my life). Then panna cotta with chestnut honey (superb!) and nougat spumino. Please don't go there asking... More

My husband happened on this while walking around Pisa. It's tucked in a small back street. The walls are decorated with Gioco del ponte items and articles about the chef from newspapers and magazines. Since we didn't have reservations, we arrived a tad early by Italian standards and were seated. For primi, I ordered penne con coniglio and hubby ordered... More
