Nice place to have lunch after visiting the main sights of Pisa. The food was tasty and the service really good.

Small restaurant 200m from Piazza del Duomo, close enough for convenience and far enough from greatest tourist traps. It is place for simple food like pasta and some seafood. I even got nice glass of wine. Very good service and kind staff.

The food wasn't the best we had whilst there but the portions were huge & the price was low. Personally, I'd rather pay more & have smaller portions but if you're looking for value then this is the place for you.

We were recommended this place by the hotel, although we were lucky to eat anywhere as we didn't arrive until about 10:30pm and Pisa seems to shut up shortly after this or certainly around the tower. The food was excellent value for money. My mum had the set menu for €13.50 which included cover, a large glass of wine and... More

My fiance and i are just back from diner and we had a great time. Very kind staff and delicios food. The carbonara pizza was outstanding! Other restaurant owners in Santa Maria try to pull you off the street but at Il peperoncino the atmosphere is realy unforced. Bellisima!!

A small restaurant near to the Tower of Pisa which was surprisingly good. Went here for a quick lunch after a visit to the Tower. There is only a small entry that runs down a hall and opens into a small dining room (8 tables) at the back. There is nothing fancy, but a pleasant atmosphere. The food is simple... More

I was here with my sister and her partner after visiting the leaning tower of Pisa. We found this resto to escape the hussle and bustle of the crowd around the tower. We really enjoyed the food here. The pasta was delicious and the bread was fantastic! They even fussed over us to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. The... More

Went here twice once for a beer - well needed after our walking around Pisa. they brought complimentary bruschetta - so much in fact we didn't want dinner that evening. We returned for a pizza on our last day which was really crispy and delicious. Great place.
