We visited All'Antico Vinaio after reading all the great reviews on Trip Advisor. We weren't let down! We beat the rush (arrived about 12:30 in the afternoon) and I basically just pointed at a sandwich I thought was interesting as I don't speak Italian. For 5 Euro, it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Delicious bread,... More

I told them to make my dad one and told them what to put on mine. Mine was a lot better than his which only had a meat a spread and eggplant, pretty bland. Mine was good: salami pecorino eggplant tomato arugala and artichoke spread but I wouldnt go out of my way in a foodie city like foorence to... More

Kept coming back to this place for the best lunch in Florence. It was always busy, especially with locals so you know it is good food. The staff helped me to pick a panino that would suit me the best. The ingredients is so fresh with such rich flavours. Across from the restaurant is a little square where you can... More

Not far from the centre and all the main attractions this place had us coming back pretty much every day! Really relaxed and informal but also very professional and fresh delicious food at a great price. So many places near by trying to rip you off, but this place is amazing!

Got to front of queue quickly even though it was really busy. Asked them to suggest something (one meat, one vegetarian). Both were absolutely fantastic, definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Very moist bread, great meat and salad. The sauces they had were great as well.

Reviewing places like this can be a bit tricky, the hype and reviews set the expectations incredibly high. I had lunch at the restaurant twice, two days in a row, and my review moved from 'Very Good' after the first visit to 'Excellent' after the second. The first day I tried a roast beef sandwich, which isn't on the menu,... More

Best focaccia sandwiches I have ever tasted. They use fresh ingredients and the staff is really friendly. The price is extremely reasonable. This place is a must try.

Although the staff at this place is as cordial and nice as ever, the charm has gone. Perhaps due to sites like Trip Advisor tourists found this place and the locals no longer come for lunch. I saw two Italian workmen come and just turn away when they saw the line. Secondly, the pork roast sandwiches which were formerly delicious... More

Spent a rainy day in the Uffizi and was completely disoriented, wet and cold after leaving. I stumbled upon this gem and asked the man behind the counter to make me his favorite sandwich. To this day I am not 100% sure what was in that sandwich except magic. I do know there was salami, eggplant, and a creamy, spicy,... More
