This small and busy restaurant serves very tasty food at very reasonable cost. The Aubergine souffle was outstanding, my favorite part of the dinner. The pasta with wild boar sauce was very tasty (8 Euro). The veal steak was high quality (3.50 Euro per 100 gram). The grilled sausage (7 Euro) was a little too salty, but flavorful. The Panna... In another city, you might pass-by this "hole in the wall" place, and look for a more fancy or hip restaurant, in a more glamorous location, but that would be a serious mistake. Once you get past the modest location and low-key decor, you'll find the food and service here are first rate and the prices for food and wine... More

They open at 7; be the first in line at 6:45 because it fills up fast and there is no waiting list! If you need to go later, have your hotel call and make a reservation! The food was handmade (pasta) and was incredible! The prices were ridiculously low. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was the best pasta dish I have... More

You know a place is good when it is packed! The place is small but warm and welcoming. It's family owned and the pasta is handmade. Just look at the pictures of the food. The cured meats platter melts in your mouth. The staff are lovely, charming, welcoming. They even have an English speaking waitress for the Americans! Very decently... More

Family run, we had a brilliant meal and with the prices we were able to grab some extras. I had the boar ragu and it was a slow cooked boar with amazing rich taste. This has been the best boar I have had in Italy so far and it was the traditional pappardelle pasta. The other dishes we had were... More

We booked a table for 18, including two babies, and the staff were very helpful, providing a highchair and making room for a pushchair. We had a mixture of antipasti which were brilliant and then everyone had a first or second course. All washed down with good Chianti. At 23 Euros a head, we thought this was great! More

Just got back from a delicious dinner - a tour guide had mentioned that this was one of her favorite places and it definitely did not disappoint! We stopped by a bit after 9pm on a Friday night and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table without a reservation. We each had a pasta dish and then shared... More

We ate here because of reviews, we had bruschetta for starter wich was good - all downhill from here, bread served was tasteless, grilled sausage main was very very salty - I love salt too but this was extreme.. And pici ragu was good but nothing fabulous - a little on the salty side aswell. No pepper on table or... More
