This restaurant is quite touristy, but it still has quite good Tuscan fare.  The atmosphere is nice, and the service is - well, Italian.  You'll get everything you need eventually.  The menu is Tuscan, focusing on beef and the local pork varieties for main dishes.  The staff speaks at least enough English to get by.  All together an enjoyable dinner.... Always excellent and the staff is wonderful. Make sure you call ahead, it is one of the more difficult restaurants in Cortona to just walk into and get a table. More

Great food and great service. Lots of wine choices. We were actually there in early Oct 2010 - we drove from Il Borro. We 4 are returning in late March 2012. The soups and "naked" ravioli (essentially a ricotta and spinach/herb Gnocchi) in sage butter sauce are worth the trip. More
