Very nice, cozy setup. Friendly stuff. This was easily one of the best restaurant we ate in during our holiday in Taormina. I can happily recommend this place :-)

Great food, authentic Sicilian - stuffed sardines and marinated seafood salad excellent - staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
Simple local dishes superbly prepared in a warm and welcoming restaurant. A wine that friends had recommended proved disappointing so the restaurant allowed a second selection--at no charge! How often does that happen?
This was a great place to eat. The food was tasty and the seafood was fresh. The steak dish wasn't amazing but you wouldn't expect that as much in sicily. The Caponata was wonderful. The staff was great and went out of their way to make sure we got great dishes.
We went twice in our week in Taormina as we enjoyed our first meal so much the staff were v friendly speaking many languages and the food was really tasty Sicilian food
We had a fantastic meal here, with a generous welcome, great food and friendly service. A great place to come and enjoy a leisurely meal.
Tasty italian fare - all classic dishes well prepared but without the extra "wow" factor. Trying to hard to cater to tourists and steering away from authenticity. And the elevator music - please...
Have already given a glowing review of this restaurant following a previous visit. A second visit has served to reaffirm that Saro and Debbie run a veritable gem. Pasta, calamari and prawns were excellent. Desserts were to die for. Hosts went out of their way to ensure that a good time was had by all.
We made a visit at "Ristorante L'Incontro" in late April 2013, and were very positively surprised that in Taormina being full of very "touristy" spots it was possible to eat very well at reasonable price and with superb atmosphere.
Our choices for the antipasti (Polipo Luciana & Insalata Di Mare) and main course (Involtini Di Carne Alla Messinese & Agnello...

You're spoilt for choice for restaurants in Taormina but we we went twice to L'Incontro with its warm welcoming staff. Choose from the menu if you like, but one of the joys of this restaurant is to discuss with Tony what to eat, especially from his wide selection of delicious antipasti: caponata, octopus with capers and herbs, sarde a beccafico...
