We found this restaurant in our Dutch guide book (100% Sicilie) and it was everything they promised. Delicious food, very friendly staff and a romantic atmosfere while sitting in a nice courtyard. We had a 3-course dinner and loved every bite (among others: caponata, fresh fish (tuna family) and chocolat dessert). They also gave us very good advise on the... More

We got the tip to visit this restaurant. Its in a quiet street in the old part of syracuse. Some steps are leading you to a small courtyard where guests are sitting outside in romantic atmosphere. we had the raw fish platter as a starter and that was just fantastic! We shared it but it is so nice you should... More

A very pleasant evening in the courtyard of Per Bacco, with a good mix of locals and tourists. We booked earlier in the week having enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar and liked the atmoshphere. Service was very friendly and helpful. We shared a large starter of shrimp and squid and excellent tuna dishes to follow. We were... More

We had lunch here with our 2 kids. Only a few guests. We chose to sit outside but there's also a contemporary and attractive dining room. Cuisine is spot-on using fresh produce and focussing on quality, fish and taste. I had a beautiful fish carpaccio and lobster pasta, really couldn't be better. My wife had a simple but delicious caprese... More

Nice restaurant but the food we got was quite ordinary. Maybe we have been unlucky. Quite costeffective.

Smart casual dining experience with superb fresh local food and an extensive wine list. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor dining areas with a vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant staff are very professional and speak English for those of us who are not conversant in Italian. The food was wonderful! Try the beef carparcio, octopus or the fabulous seafood pastas.... More

The Perbacco is good. Really fresh fish well cooked and pasta to match. But we found the service decidedly impersonal and on the night we were there there seemed to be a sort of apartheid in action. Six tables in line were all occupied by foreigners with the Italians directed to the rest of the restaurant. Maybe this is cos... More

A sensational restaurant on all levels! The food, the atmosphere and service combine to create a truly memorable culinary experience. Not one thing on the menu we didn't love, from the freshest seafood, seasonal produce and regional wines to the deserts made daily. Delectable creations such as fresh wedges of ricotta, frozen with almonds and oranges, capture the essence of... More
