very short menu capably cooked but no imagination here - except for the home made desserts - the Orange Cheesecake was a triumph ! Good wines at reasonable prices, but over all we wouldn't return.

We had lunch here on Christmas Day and thoroughly enjoyed it - a high benchmark when having Christmas away from family and friends. Lovely food and very attentive and personal service. We really took our time with the meal and stayed longer than others yet never felt rushed even though staff must have been keen to get home for Christmas....

The ambiance is great but the food and attitude of the waiter was horriable…I have had better food at a bar!
The experience from A to Z was just not ok…
From the bitter so-called Amarone wine to the dried out porchetta…they even microwave the polenta!!
The young waiter was rude and defensive and the food was just bad!!!

On a quiet Thursday night we took the suggestion of this site to visit the restaurant. The staff were pleasant and spoke very good English. There is also an English menu. The food was excellent. My mrs had steak with black truffle - very very good. The tiramisu is worth 5* on its own. With a good bottle of wine...

A perfect setting, perfect food, and excellent staff. The waiters were so friendly and helpful and took time to talk to us and even advised us on where to go wine tasting in the Valpolicella hills. We took their advice the next day and it was an amazing experience, which we'd never have found without their information.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel (Giuliette e Romeo). It's conveniently located in the lovely Piazza dei Signori just off Piazza del Erbe. We had two meals here. The first was superb and included an excellent black truffle pasta. The local antipasti with ham and cheeses was also memorable. The restaurant has tables in the Piazza dei...

We stayed in Verona for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. We tend to use Trip Advisor to help us narrow down restaurant choices, and by chance this was yards from our hotel, and well rated. It was a warm evening, and a lively night in the Piazza, but we managed to secure the last table for 2 outside....

Granted this was the site of our very first dinner ever in Italy, so maybe we're a little biased, but Locanda dei Capitani was exceptional. Nearly every course for each of us was extraordinary, the service was warm and attentive, the prices quite moderate, and the setting -- on Piazza dei Signori, just "behind" Piazza Erbe -- was sublime and...

We were in Verona for 4 nights, and ended up eating at the Locanda for two of those evenings.
The food was incredible, tasted wonderful, presented beautifully, and the staff were really friendly and English spoken, which helps avoid the horse on the menu if it's not to your taste!!
On the first visit, we managed a pasta course and...

This place has me thrown really!!! The location and the decor is excellent and we found the service to be attentive to us, and relatively fast may i add. Then when we ordered the food it all went a bit askew. The pastry with cheese and radicchio was horrid. Just a piece of puff pastry with no filling but on...
