Very welcoming. Everything was paced well, with attentive service. Nice sized pour of Prosecco to start and excellent Amarone wine of the house. We started with the goat cheese plate - it was a meal by it self! Excellent demonstration of various goat cheese agings. One of the main courses was boar with mushrooms and polenta - very tasty. The...

The food is quite good and typical of the region. We had a conference dinner for 90 people and everything was perfectly done- nothing over or undercooked and the wines were excellent examples of the region at a very fair price.

Perhaps it was what I ordered (arugula pesto pasta and zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta), but I really didn't love it and was upset with the service.
First, the service. I speak a fair amount of tourist-based Italian. Enough to fluently order and hold a general conversation. And when ordering I sometimes prefer to, so that I know if there's...

We enjoyed our first meal here so on our return to Verona, booked again, and we're not disappointed. Our stuffed zucchini flowere made superb starters and the steaks we had were cooked to perfection and we're delicious. We were the only non-Italians and were treated like guests and with care. In a quiet side street away from the crowds and...

Delicious cuisine, marvellous place and exclusive attention and service (Thanks Natasha). This place impressed us its cuisine and atmosphere. All dishes were appetizing. The restaurant service was magnificent and tasty cuisine astounded us. We reccomend his place for everybody. We tried many palatable dishes and desserts. ( lasagnette with asparagus and beshamel-creamy white sauce, beef served up with peculiar wine...

We had lunch here after reading the reviews other people left on here, what a disappointment!
The portions could be defined as "skimpy", way over salty (and that comes from people who do not mind salty and spicy food) and the quality... well, we could define it average or poor. In addition to that, we would like to add that...

What about Ugo ? A sort of institution in our city.
Great food, good service, smart people and a rich variety of typical dishes and wines. Mix it with a friendly atmosphere, and a splash of freshness and you have Da Ugo.
Good solid traditional food, not tricky inventions in your plate.
Right price for what you get.
