I would highly recommend the tasting menu. For EUR 48, one gets a before-dinner drink, an after-dinner drink, two starters, main course, and dessert. The Amarone (strong local red wine) is not cheap, but goes well with any meat course. It was truly one of the most memorable dinners of my life. More

And also probably the best wine list I have seen in a long time. Even though prices are above average value for money is excellent. I would suggest it for a quality dinner or special occasions. Thumbs up! More

Just round the corner of the popular Piaza del Erbe, but a totally different world. Quiet, stylish, surrounded by world heritage. This is the magnificent setting of this excellent restaurant. Food is superior and service professional, although a bit ‘stiff’ for me. We had two starters, two main dishes, bottle of nice wine, water and coffee for about 100 euro.... More

This was an ideal setting for a relaxed lunch while visiting Verona. Great food, great attentive service. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived but soon became more animated as several families were there to celebrate Mother's Day. Made for a great atmosphere. All three of us were quite pleased with our meals. Sure beat the lame touristy restaurants of Venice. More

A very special restaurant in a beautiful setting. We've visited a few times over many visits to Verona but Simone, the Manager, has managed to made it even better with some special touches and sublime dishes - the ricotta gnocchi and the chocolate dessert are special favourites of ours. All the staff are friendly and attentive and go out of... More

When deciding where to have a dinner in Verona I used the Tripadvisor and so we chose this restaurant. Well, it is absolutely worth it. The location is just perfect on a beautiful square right next to the main Piazza delle Erbe. The staff was very friendly and professional. And the food... the food was exceptional! I am a big... Antico Caffe Dante is located in Piazza Dei Signori. It is a beautiful square and quiet relief after the bustle of Piazza Bra and Piazza delle Erbe. The food is fabulous. We had a saffron & seafood risotto followed by the chocolate gnocchetti & a crème brulee. It is worth dining here just for the food but the service was... More

While there are a lot of restaurants at Verona's centre, this one is located at the Piaza dei Signori, a wonderful piaza behind the very touristic Piaza del'Erbe. You definetely have to go and -even- search for the piaza, a wonderful, pleasant place with outstanding buildings surrounding you and your company. The Dante is a very ambitious, gourmet restaurant where... More

Complimentary Prosecco was a welcome beginning. For first course my husband really enjoyed the gnocchi with black truffles. I had the chickpea soup which was not worth eating. For the main course, my husband had the lamb shank and I had the wild boar ragu pasta. We enjoyed both. The highlight was the glass of Amarone which is now the... More
