My girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening at Osteria L'Orto dei Mori. It's a very cosy place in a quiet part of Venice. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. We had a two-course menu, a bottle of wine and some water and paid 80 EUR in total, which we found reasonable. There was a good selection for vegetarians... More

We had a good meal here. You have to make a reservation, because it very often is fully booked. The restaurant is located in a quiet area very near the ghetto on one of the many canals. Food was nice and service good.

mixed feelings: great quiet neighborhood and decoration but not so great value for money and food or service to remember. Overall though a nice experience.

At first we were a little worried about having vegetarian options but they gladly accommodated us and did it without compromising quality! Every part of the meal was great. We may go back a second time!

We had much better meals in Venice for much less. We did reserve ahead. I agree with another poster that the staff seemed stressed and pressed. The atmosphere is delightful. The food generally forgettable. In fact except for the main course I have forgotten what we had. The main course was a wide flat homemade pasta which was quite good.... More

In a quiet area, away from tourists, very friendly and inviting, Sicilian chef Lorenzo beautifully marries north and south. We liked everything we ate. It was delicate and sophisticated. One of our favorite meals after nearly two weeks in Italy.

First off..... the food here is delicious. The sardine starter I had was possibly the best dish of our trip but Chef........ your good work is being undone by the front of house staff and by one waitress in particular (I'm sure its the same one mentioned in a previous review by "HoneyT") She was surly, and was slamming dishes... it was cold and rainy when we ate here - the place was cozy and inviting. The food was terrific. The house wine was very good. Worth hunting this place out for a wonderful evening.

We went here on our first night in Venice they were full so we booked for the second night, Food and service were very good we both had 3 courses I would recommend that you try sea bass! Deserts were fantastic, tiramisu and hazelnut ice-cream were great ! Worth a walk!

Had just visited the nearby Church, were tired and hungry and found this restaurant quite by chance - easy to walk past without noticing it. Excellent food and service and had it been nearer our hotel we would have e returned. Felt the price very fair.
