A cute bar inside a narrow street next to busy neighborhood. We tried great wines 2-3€ and ate small delicasies. The bartender was very proffessional and friendly!

This bar was so popular the night we visited that customers were allowed to spill out into the street. The cicchetti and wine were great value so it was not surprising that it was popular with locals. Enjoyed the nautical decor throughout. Recommend a visit when you are in Venice.
I can't remember when we first visted the Ciurma (and noticed its quaint ceiling incorporating the bottom of a small boat) but can recall its closure for refurbishment a few years back when we felt obliged to try out a variety of ciccheterie including those well known and quoted in a variety of books, guides and fiction. Despite their attributes,...

Great place to people watch as Venetians stop in for a glass of wine and some cicchetti. We loved choosing wines from different regions of Italy and having a couple of snacks. The bartender was great and explained different wines and cicchetti to us. We were the only travelers and enjoyed watching Venetians come in, chat, have a glass of...

My wife and I stopped at this little hide away bar as part of a "pub crawl." The pub crawl experience itself with the other stops was lackluster, however upon entering Osteria Alla Ciurma we were greeted by the owner and were presented with wonderful food and a fantastic house red wine. Locals came and went during our time their...

In terms of getting the ciccheti experience, this place was similar to others we visited and had a nice atmosphere. A few things were lacking: on a weekend evening, there wasn't a great selection of food items to choose from and the staff didn't go out of their way to accommodate requests. For instance, they were actively putting together some...

The place is very traditional and the owner is very friendly. The food is very good and genuine although the selection is a bit limited. The wine is excellent and cheap too.
We found this place on our last trip to Venice 2 years ago and searched it out again........... it was just as good as we remembered. Between 2 of us we had 3 glasses of white wine (which went down far too well), and 4 appetisers which came to the grand total of 9.80 Euros. Unbelievable prices, great value, service...

We stopped at this small wine bar on our Cicchetti tour. Had some lovely cicchetti(appetisers) and the best red wine I have tasted in years at this great spot. Very small but extremely firendly. Out of the way and used more by locals but worth trying to find.
This is a delightful bar, small but with a wide range of wines served by a friendly owner. Four glasses of wine and a selection of delicious snacks came to 15 euros. Popular with locals, this is Venice and local produce at an uninflated price.
