We ate here on Thursday 10th May, and enjoyed two huge pizzas that were delicious and fresh. Probably the best pizzas we have had for years. Inexpensive compared to the rest of Venice so it was a welcome change! Thoroughly recommend, but they have such a big choice,so it will take you a while to make up your mind. Wish... More

we liked all'anfora so much we came here twice during our stay in Venice. the pizzas are really marvelous, and the selection is mind boggling! lots of neighborhood people, so it makes for an authentic experience. it's off the beaten path, which we loved. the servers are friendly and most speak a little english if you need it. Obviously the star of the show is the pizza. I am sure there were over 40 different types of pizza available and they are massive, thin slice varieties cooked beautifully. Excellent value also which is refreshing as Venice is swamped with overpriced tourist traps. The house wine was about €10 for a litre but we opted for a nice Valpolicella... More

Really nice restaurant that served huge pizza's and delicious desserts. We dined here twice during our week stay in Venice and enjoyed both visits. Only downside to this restaurant is that they seat you outside in the summer months and you get eaten alive by the mosquitoes.... so make sure you cover yourself in repellent before going or insist (... The pizzas were very large and delicious. They have over 5 pages of pizza options! The house wine was great. My husband and I ate here each had a pizza and split a L of wine for about 30Euro. More

Came here following other reviews and we werent let down. Original pizza in super thin crust made in a wood oven.........yummmmm do you need more than that? Fine, the tomato sauce is freshly made in house, or at least that is what it looked like, you could see the tiny pieces of pomodoro! My mom eat a whole pizza, unusual... More

We ate here on the basis of reviews we'd read on trip advisor. The location is so well hidden in and in a such a non touristy area we never would have stumbled across it otherwise and we're pleased we made the effort. I have to say I was a teensy bit disappointed after reading the rave reviews about the... More

Lovely little neighborhood restaurant is in the quiet Santa Croce district not far from Piazzale Roma. The pizza and pasta were prepared in the authentic Italian style and everything our group had for dinner was excellent. Good service, very good food and reasonably priced even with the cover charge and service tax. More

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant because my husband had read a review on Trip Advisor. So glad we went, wow talk about great pizza! They have about 50 different types of pizza and the prices and taste are very, very good! From what we read from others, at night this place gets very busy because it... More
