Whilst it was a little chilly the night we ate, do try and have an aperitif immediately outside the restaurant and watch the world walk by outside and the view across the canal to Giudecca. Once inside I hope you enjoy an explanation of the menu from the proprietor whose name is Cremonin. If anyone can make a menu come... More

Having read all the rave reviews and recommendations of our hotel concierge we decided to brave the rain and flooded back streets near Riviera to celebrate my Birthday. What a dissapointment ! The food portions were very tiny ..the 35 Euro raw fish plate couldn't satisfy a child let alone an adult. We were so embarassed for our friends who... More

Hello! Few precisions: -Riviera (not Reviera) is not a hotel but a restaurant -The "new" management arrived two years ago, and all the reviews on those pages are about this "new" one. All the Concierges in the City receive regularly our news letter with new menus and prices, and all the Concierges are really well informed about who I'm and... More

Expensive, but good for a special treat. Emphasis on fresh fish simply prepared with great ingredients. Lots of aromatic oils and herbs sauces lightly sprinkled, for a refreshing flavor. An oyster risotto we ordered was a bit bland, but seared scallops were divine.

I booked this purely as it was the top restaurant on here and yes it was lovely but I think we may be spoilt as I just thought it was very nice but average. My partner thinks Im silly for saying that, as it was lovely and we thought reasonably priced (200 euro) and they were lovely enough to provide... More

Hello Sir I'm a little bit surprised about your review. I don't pretend that Riviera must be "the best" or something like; I always say to my Guests that we have only Simply and Real Products and that we do our best to don't "destroy" them, having always the maximum respect and for the Product and for the Guest: that's... Had sought out this restaurant based on the reviews on trip advisor. Best thing we ever did. The service was great, the food was great. Though slightly pricey it was worth it. The owner and waiter took time to explain what was available and provided recommendation based on what was in season, which you should go with as it was... More

We ate here on our second night in Venice having booked our table from the UK - the food and service were second to none. We all had the scallops for starter (absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection) followed by a seabass baked in salt and a red snapper cooked with potatoes to share between the four of us. The... Tried to get in on our first night but the restaurant was full but the owner recommended a place 5 minutes walk away which was superb. Booked in for our second night and had a fabulous meal. The owner explained all the fish options, the full menu and his wine knowledge was superb. Asparagus risotto with egg yolk, followed by... More

Had a super lunch here, sitting outside on the waters edge. Not cheap by any means but the food was excellent. Fresh fish daily. We had amazing clams to start. Charming staff who really do try to make your time there special. Great to walk along the Zattere in the sun. And away from the crowds.

In fact it is a restaurant away from the touristic places but at the same time near, but worth the walk.Me and my wife booked for a table outside when and despite everybody was eating inside, the waiter places us where we wanted. We started with scalops and carpaccio and continued with two inovative pastas that made our visit to this restaurant...
