Busy & fast, lots of people passing through having aperitifs before hitting the restaurant across the road. We stayed & had a really nice salad + perfect wine after the obligatory aperol spritz. Dessert was good too :-)

This is a small place, and there can be a wait to get in. The food and wine are excellent. very nice staff.
We ate here and shared a few drinks after reading all the reviews on TA.
delighted we did.
We had a lovely meat and cheese platter here.
Also a very tasty caprese salad.
finished off with some lovely chocolates and a lovely italian liquor.
had some nice banter with the guy running the place whose knowledge on various wines was...

we tasted here a wine which was recommended by the man who was servicing us that day... It was Barbera di Asti - Stradivario from a winery called Bava.. this is the best Barbera I ever tried in my life.. on the 2nd day we went back to buy this wine and take it with us home but the place...

This wine bar is run by a lovely couple, Franco (wine) and Jay (food). Wine is the star here, and Franco has a prodigious knowledge. Food is secondary, but excellent never the less, with an uncanny knack of marrying particular food and wine well.
We requested a “full bodied red, dry, and fruity”. The La Lepre Diano D’Alba DOCG 2011...

This place was disappointing. All as we did was wait and wait and then the food was sorely disappointing. The staff only cared about texting and chatting. Much better places to go.

And as a wine...

First of all, this is more like a wine bar than a restaurant. Their food is quite generic. The menu is very limited. Atmosphere is OK. This place did not...

Called here on a visit across from Tremezzo, was raining so we called in for a light lunch, ended up staying two hrs being wined and fed by Franko. The Taff are warm and inviting and the meals are very tasty. This is the kin of place to stop late afternoon and enjoy the various wines with friends and a...
