My wife and I decided to visit here on a Tuesday evening for dinner, as many other nearby restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were shown to our table, and knew what we wanted to order within a couple of minutes. However, we were made to wait 15 minutes before we were attended to. The english couple adjacent... More

It was good food at better than average local prices. The last time we went for lunch. The place was full of locals, that tells a story! The waitress took her time to explain what different things were. The food was good value.....especially in comparison to other local places.

Ate here with my wife. Her sea bass fish was ok but my fillet steak was below average. The potatoes that came with the steak were also below average. The service wad friendly but slow. We sat outside beside the port which was the best part of the meal.

This place is a discovery. Friendly staff, excellent food, good value and big selection of wines. I even hang out for coffee in the afternoons and use their WiFi. I love this place. Try the fish soup, or the Dorado oven-baked in salt. Even the simple seafood salad is something. I will be there again in 8 months...

I found this restaurant by just walking past. It was in a quiet little street off the promenade. Service was great but the spaghetti seafood was disappointing. Very oily with some type of thick gluggy sauce. The seafood seemed fresh. Shame about the sauce. They add 2.5€ per person as a service tax which not sure if it was for... More

Small restaurant at the port, good seafood and nice service. Make sure you have a reservation, because weekends are packed.

The tables overlooking the port are across the road from the restaurant, the waitress crosses the zebra crossing with the orders. I like seafood, but this was not fresh, the calamari and gambara were 'rubbery'. So one course lunch for two, a plate of chips for our child, with water and coffee, considering the average quality of the food was... More

We found this place during our first morning in SM and we are so glad we did. We have eaten breakfast here every day since (1 week stay). Breakfast is typical Italian (cakes, pastries, croissants, paninis) set up buffet style so no waiting which is great when you have kids. Coffee is just gorgeous and the staff are both friendly... Driving back North from Lucca, we thought to have a last nice meal for lunch in Italy near the seaside. But the seaside in Italy is full of traps. The people sitting in the bar area having frittate seemed to be enjoying themselves, but that area was full so we were show to the dining room behind, where we were... More

This looked like a really cool restaurant just across from the boat docks and right on the main street along the waterfront. There were not many people there when we entered and we were seated close to the front door where we could see outside. That was fine. I ordered a prima piatti of pasta with a basil sauce and...
