Had the Linguine with swordfish and my wife had seafood pasta in foil - both excellent. Attentive and prompt service. Overlooks main street so good for people watching!.

We ended up eating here both nights we were in town, as the food was so good the first night. The highlight was the seafood risotto, which was fantastic and loaded with super fresh seafood, including langoustines, shrimp, mussels, clams and squid. A pasta special with shrimp and truffles was also great. All of the servers were super friendly. Also,...

My wife and I enjoyed a great meal at La Lampara. I enjoyed the linguini and swordfish. My wife had eggplant and pasta. Both meals were simple but two of our favorite meals all week. We finished with the tiramisu. Awesome!
I enjoyed the mussels but found the stuffing over took the flavour of the mussels. My seafood risotto was excellent and very good value for money

The wine was a local red...

Staying at Lucca throughnthrpe New Year we decided to adventuremto Cinqueterre by train...first town..Riomaggiore. Mnot a lot, open being the low season...found this place open...we had a great seafood salad for appetizer...and a big size pizza each..pricier than at Lucca , but considering the place we where it as worth it!
We had a decent meal here followed by stellar deserts. The manager was great, some of the best service we've had in Italy, which is not really known for its service. My pizza (proscuitto and mushrooms) was quite good but it was a focaccia pizza not real pizza, so not excellent. My wife's Raghu/Bolognese was very salty, not very good....

I loved sitting in the little room encompassed by glass that is so popular in Italy. There were only about 10 tables in there, had the best and nicest service, and delicious food. Mushroom pizza was very interesting- the crust is much thicker than the typical thin crust you see in other restaurants in Italy. But still delicious. Great pasta,...
