Recommended by our hotel so confident of a good experience. Came away disappointed with the food and the service, courtesy of our arrogant waiter. My Pumpkin risotto was nice although overpowered by the cheese shavings on top. My husbands pasta was very undercooked and he was unimpressed. Cost... 60 Euros for two entrees, a glass of red and a beer!... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Rome and the lady waitress was very friendly and welcoming. As another reviewer commented the male waiter was slightly lazy but was a nice a person nevertheless. Food was nice and cooked well but quite expensive compared to other restaurants of similar quality and atmosphere. It was expensive enough for... More

Staff was ftiendly and accomodating. Not very good English skills. The women work hard, try to please the customer and are friendly. The men in staff are the total opposite, seem uninterested, lazy and rude. Food is very variable. Some dishes good some bad. Room is cozy and has hints of romantic alcove depending where you sit and how liud... More

We stumbled on this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere that wasn't too touristy. It looked nice and the menu on display outside looked interesting and a bit unusual so we decided to givei it go with the thoughts that it would be absolutely awful or very good. Unfortunately it was awful! The menu did not live up to expectations and... More

We just happened upon this restaurant while walking around fashion district not far from the Spanish Steps, we wandered a few blocks and walked in this quaint little ristorante. It was so romantic and simply appointed but nice art. The food smelled incredible and we were seated. I ordered the wild mushroom hand made fettucinni which was perfectly el dente.... More

Unlike the surrounding traditional trattorie, this restaurant offers a smaller choice of well-executed dishes, so you may find only a small number of dishes to please you but they will be excellent - in our case, very succulent lamb. A modern, simple decor, atractively-lit art-work on the walls, a husband and wife (we assume!) team in charge and a mix... More

Based on a recommendation of our hotel went to Le Sorelle for lunch one day (no booking) and really enjoyed it. Our lunch was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our tiramisu was the best of our stay in Rome!! Have read other reviews and find it hard to believe it is the same restaurant. Agree about the... More

Having reserved on a friday evening there was no table available when we arrived. Raining outside we were asked to come back later. Finally we found an internediate table to sit and wait ....several wines offered on the card were not available, different food was "out" (took a walk or what ??) and the staff was smiling but not friendly.... I was initially optimistic about this restaurant, as we happened upon it after shopping, and saw the Tripadvisor logo on the window. The atmosphere seems nice, but I guess the fact that no one else was in the restaurant until we were finished at 9:00 pm, may have been a clue. The staff was not very friendly, the food overpriced,... More
