We had debated going to La Pergola while on our honeymoon in Rome based on the cost but are glad we decided to spend the money and really enjoyed the dinner and experience. You don't just wander into this restaurant not knowing what you are going to spend so there is no reason to have any sticker shock when you... More

Sitting at La Pergola with the women you Love looking out as the sunset turns the roof tops of Rome red is worth the money alone and earns you enough brownie points to get you to Christmas and that's before you start the culinary experience of La Pergola. Having eaten at a few Michelin restaurants (im by no means an... More

We made a reservation to this amazing restaurant few weeks in advance, and it was already fully booked. This restaurant is by far different from the others, starting from the amazing location at amazing hotel Rome Cavalieri, the view from this restaurant is spectacular, the service is beyond words amazing, the food presentation is superb, we had a separate menu... Just back from Rome where myself and new wife visited La Pergola restaurant for the night as part of our honeymoon celebrations. The meal was out of this world and by far the best food we both have ever tasted. Every course was beautifully presented and you could literally taste them just by looking at them and the smell they... More

Understanding the difference between two and three Michelin star ratings has always been more than difficult for me. But my base understanding is that a three star experience should be flawless from both a food and service experience. For our first visit to La Pergola, the food excelled, but the service was inconsistent. For any dining experience, the quality and... More

I was going to La Pergola with high expectations. The real experience exceeded all of them. The location is magic, with a wonderful view of Rome from the top of a hill. And the food is absolutely exceptional, definitely worth the 3 Michelin stars. We choose the tasting menu which includes 10 courses and a couple of extras. The execution... More

This is the only Michelin 3-star-rated restaurant in Rome. As we sat down to dinner, my dining companion asked me at how many 3-star establishments I had eaten. When I thought about it, I realized that La Pergola was my 12th such restaurant with half of them in Europe (4 in France) and the other half in the USA (4... More

After eating really mediocre food in Rome I was so delighted to stumble upon La Pergola. I was treated to a truly delicious meal with spectacular views of Vatican City and Rome. My taste buds are still thanking chef Beck. No wonder this is named the Best Restaurant in Rome.

This restaurant is advertised as the best restaurant in Rome and I have to agree. It's a delight to go a to place where five or six different waiters serve you during the course of the evening -- they even have a bread waiter! The first waiter escorted us to the balcony outside where he spent ten minutes pointing out... More

My husband and I were blown away by the whole package. The table, the view, the service, and the meal were such a treat. The richness of everything is euphoric. The water list is delightful, my brother recommended Lurisia before we went-perfect and on the lower price point end. The sommelier, Alessandro, directed us gently through intimidating encyclopedias of winds... More
