If you like to people watch while enjoying a meal this is a great place. The food was good. I had the seafood risotto. It was very rich, but nice. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

The place was recommended but we didn't know what to think from the other reviews. The food was excellent and priceworthy. The service was above expectations. All rhe recommendations we're perfect. The housewine excellent and rhe pasta homemade. Also a great view. Sadly no wi-fi
We had lunch there today after touring the Forum and Colosseum, so we were looking forward to a relaxed, lengthy, very good meal. This place did not disappoint. The setting, overlooking the Piazza Santa Maria, was perfect: good people watching. We sat outside, under the umbrellas: a must on a hot, sunny day. The food was great: my eggplant parmagian...

We visited Sabatini on the recommendation of our hotel concierge on a saturday night. The setting is one of Rome's squares, though far from the most attractive. We had a very unextraordinary meal delivered with OK service but the price - Euros 250+ for 4 was significantly higher than other, better, restaurants we ate at in Rome. Most diners around...

Just had lunched today and was fleeced. Came as a recommendation too! Had mixed tradizione starter and served with 2 bruschettas which were not requested and then charged for as extras!!! Starter nothing exciting. Reasonable prosciutto. Much better last night elsewhere. 2 mains. 1 carbonara! Not home made spaghetti! Average! 1 saltimbocca. Again average. 3 glasses of house wine. 7...

We had lunch here on a hot April day. Friendly, efficient service. To start we ordered an antipasta dish to share, the contents of which the waiter carefully explained to us. It was served in a large plate in the middle of the table with a small plate for each containing a tomato bruschetta. It was delicious, but very modest...

I was there on a Spring evening during holydays with my girlfriend. The Food was o.k. and people were friendly. But the price is exorbitantly high compared to what we got.
I've never had such a bad value for the money. Our recommendation:
don't go there, its a tipical overpayed tourist spot. you are able to finde better places in...

Rarely do restaurants "live up" to their reputation-but Sabatini's does. Simply the best in Rome. Outstanding service, incredible food, the most incredible location-do not miss this place!!
Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, where Sabatini is located, is very lively on a clear, spring evening and that's when I went. There was much to see - street performers by the fountain, the Santa Maria church lit up, locals going about on their business. It's quite romantic as well.
If you go to Sabatini, pick a nice evening and...

...it was bleedin' expensive. This place is situated on a gorgeous old square in Rome, which is what youre paying for. We landed in Rome for the weekend and came straight here first as it was handy. The food was lovely as was the wine, however, when we sought the bill, there was a hefty service charge added to the bill....
