A very nice place where get good food at night. Cheap and cauzy. Good beer , huge choice of cheese.s Very good Parmigiana alle melanzane. Next time we'll try Stinco al forno.
We stumbled upon this Enoteca near to the hotel we were staying in. There are very few tourists(we seemed to be the only ones!) but it is busy with locals which I think is always a good sign. The offer an amazing cold buffet from 5.30--8.30pm for 10E which includes a drink. The food is all home cooked lasagne, fritatta,... More
When staying in Testaccio for four nights in July 2013, we came to Oasi della Birra a number of times for drinks before going out to dinner. Being British, there is always a certain draw of finding a good beer! The drinks selection was fantastic; easily over 100 beers for sale both in draught and bottled. The service was good... More
This place has one of the biggest beer menus in Rome -- sadly, the menu is somewhat deceptive. Quite a few of the beers on the menu are unavailable when you try to order them. Still, the selection of international beers is impressive. The highlight of this place, however, is the generous aperitivi (snaks/small foods) available. Lots of different pastas,... More
I have been to this place several times. It has the feel and drink selection of a small enoteca. I have mainly gone for drinks and the happy hour aperitivo. Price is decent compare to other places and there is a variety of cold foods to choose from. Each time I have gone there has been a selection of cheese,... More
Testaccio is the new Trastevere to me: More Romans here, less tourists. This is a good place for a tipical italian bite, awkwardly completed by a huge beer list. But you have plenty of wines too, the one I picked was awful but you can find good ones. Pasta, Risotto, all excellent...well served. Cheap. Nice and friendly (with my girlfriend... More
Had a lovely and chilled evening. Staff are helpful and non-pushy. Will definitely return when back in Rome.
If you like beer and good rustic food this place is for you. My wife and I had a pavement table one evening and had a great time. 100's of beers from all around the world from the menu and great food (we have the italian meat and cheese platter to share) simply fantastic
You dine in a wine shop / delicatessen that just happens to have dining tables crammed into every available space. Good food, great value, superb selection of drinks.
One of the very few unpretentious and pleasant places to eat in this area of otherwise self-impressed and pretentious restaurants. The menu at L'oasi is simple and there are always some dishes not on that menu so ask. One night, for example, I had a delicious risotto with radicchio. There was always something fine to try and the wines are... More
