This restuarant is round the corner from the Kolbe - where we tend to stay if we go to Rome. I first ate here a few years back, and since then I am pleased to say that the restaurant has gotten bigger, the menu a little more adventurous, but it is still as enjoyable as when I first went. Very... More

Ened up going here because we were looking for somewhere close to our hotel (the Kolbe). A lot of time and money seems to have gone on the decor (based on films based in Rome), but sadly this didn't seem to extend to the quality of the food. It was OK (and my wife was more impressed than me), but... More

The food was better than good, it was borderline fantastic. The staff was very helpful and very competent (not the usual in Rome!) i was not very impressed by the wine, but it was not at all bad it just wasn't spectacular like the food. We arranged to eat here through the SmartBox Degustazione promotions. Certainly not the best value... More

Dear customer, you have participated to a dinner with other 34 persons. Each one of them appreciated the tomato sauce that you have vulgarly described as “smelling uri”. Not one plate has returned back unfinished (included yours), and the same thing happened with the desserts. The blonde woman with eyeglasses in the back of the second picture you have published,... OK, this really looks like one of those places which could be a tourist trap. It is located at the very earth of Rome, behind the Forum and the Campidoglio, with the typical set of English menus exposed at the entrance and some tourists wearing horrible T-Shirts and white sneakers. BUT just wait 9:30pm when they are gone, the traffic... More

Very pleasant atmosphere on a quiet little vicolo near the Capitoline. Sixties Italian cinema theme, with blow-ups of Italian and American stars of the period, especially a huge one of Audrey and Gregory from "Roman Holiday" at the Bocca Della Verita, which is nearby. Food OK, billed as "a la Romana"', but nothing memorable. Go for the atmosphere and the... More

We are happy to have discovered this elegant place, for its excellent food and beautiful location. Thanks alot to the waiters, they have been very helpful and attentive. We would certanly come back!

This was the first place we ate in Rome, as we just arrived and were walking towards the forum in search of something to eat for dinner. We loved the looks of the outside and the open air seating. The food was so delicious and the server was incredibly friendly. Make sure you don't forget to have dessert! It was... More

I had dinner with my wife in this restaurant in Sept of 2010 as it was suggested by one my colleague who visited it before. I should say that it was my best eating experience in Rome!! We visited at least 6 different places before we found In Roma restaurant. That's why we appreciated it even more. Everything, from the... More

Found it when we were staying in the nearby Kolbe, went back again on subsequent trip when visiting the Capitoline. Nice place, good mix of Italian and tourist diners. Charming but low-key little square, with good out-door seating. Food is okay, prices decent. It's not the greatest food 've ever had, but there's just something charming about a place that... More
