The food is great as well as prices. Although Rome can be expensive, this restaurant is relatively cheap. For example, it charges less for water, beer and wine than any other place that we visited.

Good place for Danish steaks and a good variety of thin (Roman style) pizzas all made with a traditional wood oven (no modern stuff please!). Service efficient and nice. No outdoor, inside with no AC but ventilators. Their supplì are very good. Deserts ok. Good wines & beers.

But when the food arrived, we had one of the best meal in Rome. The bistecca was a highlight.. superbly done. The bread, the pasta, mozarella were all very well...

We went to this restaurant because it was number one on TA but it really was nothing special. The food was ok but our porcini was not fresh, propably from the glass.
The service was nice but the ambiente was more like a cheap pizza place with too much light and cheap paintings all over.
It's not a bad restaurant,...

The service is like you average Roman restaurant, decent, but if you speak Italian, usually the waiters can be pretty entertaining. Depends on which one...

We were welcomed and I am guessing we were the only english people given the reception. The waiter couldn't have been more helpful, taking time...
