Down a quiet street directly connected to Piazza dei Popolo- maybe 2 minutes from the square. Offers outdoor seating. Our server was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. Was open as late as 10 pm. VALUE: No cover charge. "First course" pasta plates are actually a good size. Each of us ordered one, and they filled all of us up (even... More

Service was fine, food OK. Great location - in a quiet street, near Via del Corso and Piazza del Populo.

This was a find right near piazza di popollo. Nice ambient atmosphere, food was of good quality and the dessert to share was great value. The service although friendly was somewhat lackin in timekeeping. Firstly we were told there was a ten minute wait for a table to come down and fin the restaurant only two thirds full at best.... The pizza was soft as a pancake and all the toilets were out order. How can you run a restaurant without toilets !! Never again !!

Dear client, As you type in the title of your review, the day when you came, unfortunately, we had a technical problem with bathrooms during the service. To avoid further disruption to customers, we preferred to give availability of toilets, adjacent to our restaurant, rather than stopping in mid-evening. It was an exceptional and unpredictable event that we solved in... More

The restaurant has a nice location, in the beautiful streets off the busy Corso. It is well designed and the service was fine. This is a very popular place. However, the food wasn't more than OK. I tasted a pasta, tartar, a pizza and a salad. All were OK, not more. Only the homemade limoncello was fabulous.

This restaurant is exactly what I put in the subject. You can be easily put off the experience of dining in Rome if you end up in yet another overpriced tourist trap restaurant with menus in 6 languages and German and British flags but this one is great. It’s not outdoors, mind you, not patio dining but a basement. Food... More

We had bruschetta, pizzas snd tiramisu. The food was tasty. Good value for money / not expensive nor overpriced. We have another 3 days in Rome so will try to come back for something more than just pizza. The best in the place we found was the service. So attentive that we would not expect to find in Italy after... More

We really enjoyed our dinner at Il Brillo Parlante. It was our first night in Rome, our first time in Rome. We sat outside on a nice spring evening and enjoyed a good meal. For me, it was particularly nice b/c they had gluten-free pasta available. As a celiac, I was nervous about going to the land of ravioli, pizza... More

Dear Madame, I remember with affection the exchange of mail in which you were hesitant on the chance to taste our food, but in the version for celiacs. We always try to coddle even those who, like you, healthy character has special needs, without sacrificing taste. It 's been an honor for me to satisfy your needs when you come for... More
