The food there is excellent but be aware of two pitfalls. Our first mistake was not asking for the price before we ordered a medley of antipasti for three. Much to my amazement the price for the antipasti was 48 euro which equates to $20 per person. The antipasti(almost all vegetables) were good but nothing special and in no way... More

Recommended by our hotel because it is away from the tourist traffic, we were not disappointed with the free shuttle service (much needed - trust me!), brilliant food, great wine list, friendly service and reasonable bill. One of our best 3 meals in all of Italia!

They offer free transportation to and from your hotel, which was a plus. And from the moment we walked into this beautiful place we were greeted with open arms and smiles from the staff. They treated us like family. The Chef came over and offered his recoemndations for the night, which we of course went with. And everything was delicious,... More

Our guide, Giovanna Donadio, Isle of Capri, recommended this restaurant. A shuttle picked us up and transported us to this gem. We never could have found the place ourselves. We were greeted with enthusiasm. Service was great and the 6 of us ladies were treated like queens. We started with the family style appetizers which were wonderful. Most of us... More

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk at our hotel. A private car picked us up at the front door and returned us afterward. Turned out to be the owner who picked us up!! Mario drove a few minutes through Sorrento and then down the narrowest alley I've ever seen, which opened onto a lemon grove before we arrived... More

The dinner at Donna Sofia was a real treat. I've traveled all over Italy and have been to Amalfi coast many times. The evening we spent at Donna Sofia was simply extraordinary. A private car, not a shuttle, picked us up at our hotel in Sorrento and drove us not more than 5 minutes through the most gorgeous lemon tree... More

We were recommended this restaurant in a local bar and it did not disappoint. We were picked up from our hotel by the local shuttle bus and from the moment we arrived we love it! Great food, great atmosphere and a great price for what it was. Will definately be back!

This restaurant is outside of Sorrento, but they have a shuttle that will come to your hotel and pick you up and drive you back. Recommended by my guide. Overall - the food is so-so, but way overpriced for the quality. mixed salad was good deep fried baby squid, wasn't my favorite. Too much batter to meat ratio. Lobster Linguine... More

On our last night in Sorrento, we were recommended this restaurant by a local person we met the previous night at Da Fillippo, also very good. The food was very good with authentic taste of the region. My truffle ravioli with porcini mushrooms was sublime. We also has bakedJohn Dory fish which was lovely. Angel hair pasta with crab was...
