This restaurant in downtown Madrid, few minutes from the Royal Palace, has allegedly a reputation for being "the best tablao [restaurant with flamenco show] of the world". I am not entirely sure of this; the place is really small and, together with a crowded attendance, this means only a very small stage (with few performers) and packed tables. I have... More

No problem with paying for the show, but reservations about the meal. Prices are all without VAT, which adds a hefty charge to the published price. Minimum charge applies which leads you to have the set meal. which includes a large bottle of water and half a bottle of wine. The food was fine, but much more expensive than deserved.... More

Oh my! Expectations surpassed for both show and dinner. The food and service were outstanding. The show was fabulous in part because of the interaction of the performers with each other- their smiles, adulation for moves and ferocity! Just a wonderful time!

The performers were very good, but the public was terrible: talking loudly and filming the performance all the time. We were given a poor table even though we had made a reservation two months in advance and arrived early. The first drinks were supposed to be on the house, but were included in the bill. There must be better places... More

I was recently in Madrid with my wife and, as lovers of flamenco, we followed TA reviews for Corral De Moreria. Surprisingly, given that they accommodate about 200 plus people per show, the performers, food and service were very good. My main complaint stems from the fact that the staff is so busy serving customers and collecting payment during the... More

Glad to see so many good reviews even now of this wonderful place that I went during a business trip in 1998! Yes 1998!! The show was high intensity, great music and superb dancers. I can't comment much on food since I was a vegetarian and during those days the menu didn't have much of choice for vegetarians. But enjoyed... More

This is the perfect place to go to get the full spanish experience. Great music, great steaks, great wine and amazing flamenco. Definatly make reservations at least 1-2 days earlier and try to ask for a table in front of the stage. Watch out for the tables on the side of the room beacuse of the impared view. Believe me,... Their dance really looks great. They even do show twice / day. Food was also quit good, considering that we had a really big party and everyone was ordered the same dishes.

On our first visit to Madrid with our 20 year old daughters, we were struggling to decide if we should visit Corral de la Moreria. We definitely wanted to see a flamenco show, but we are generally not fans of the typical touristy destinations. We were also debating whether to eat there or just go for the show and drinks.... The title of this review says it all. My wife and I have promised ourselves a Flamenco evening for many a year...and our first visit to Madrid provided the perfect opportunity. After much internet research and local advice, we settled on Corral de la Moreria. We knew it was not going to be cheap, so were not shocked at the... More
