This was one of my favourite pasta and salad restaurants in Madrid, just round the corner from my apartment in C/ Dr Castela, but they closed locally - a great little pasta chain - the nearest to me now is in Salamanca - think they have around a further 12 restaurants in Madrid track them down and try them out.

We were tired and didnt want to walk far when we found this restaurant down a side street. We were also early by Madrid standards, 8pm. However we were greeted warmly and left to peruse the menu over a glass of wine, the staff seemed to realise that we were tired and needed to chill out. The starters of Provoletta...
