myself and my partner ate here for my birthday, it was perfect. We had never eaten here before and fancied a change so booked a table through hearing good things on trip advisor and we were not dissapointed. We booked a table for 8pm and the restaurant had a great atmosphere at this time and we ate from a la... More

Tired of Spanish food? We tried this Italian restaurant about a block from our hotel when my wife and I wanted something other than Spanish fare. It's a small local establishment with a rather extensive menu. The owner is part Italian and Argentinean, so you get beef from Argentina if your order steaks. On our first visit, we wanted pizza.... After ready many reviews of this place, we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant. We both had the entrecote which in the description said it was fillet steak. We did ask the waitress about the translation and she was adamant that the steak was fillet!!. However it was definitely NOT solomio/fillet we were given - it was tough... More

Our first night in Madrid and we came here from reviews saying relaxed atmosphere and not to posh food, we had been travelling all day so didn't want to have to dress up as such! It really is a friendly atmosphere with staff that care and take time to explain the menu and specials. The food was great and even... More

This place has a really great atmosphere, but the food was just okay. I mean we tried some of everything to give it a fair shot, but it wasn't anything special. I would definitely go back to give it a second try because I want to believe and the people there were so nice. I'm not sure why it was... More

This is the second time I eat here. Last year it was really good. A year later (exactly) it was a huge disappointment. The food was oily, over cooked and not nice overall. The service was good, but the atmosphere had changed. A bit less cozy. Too expensive! The price was incredibly high. Very bad quality/price ratio.

I went to this restaurant last year after reading raving reviews and thought it was ok. Then I went back this year and I can confirm it is not that great. The good: fun service, ok food The bad: pizzas are deep dish, not Italian base. Too pricey for Madrid and not amazing quality as some reviews imply.

The menu is quite extensive, surprising for the size and style of restaurant, and the food is terrific. Also, the service is warm, genuine and very fast - a passionate owner/operator type feel. But............... if you're equating EXCELLENT with "upscale" or "modern" or "posh" -- you will be sorely disappointed. This is a very simple, local and small restaurant --... More

We came across this restaurant on our last night in Madrid. We had read the reviews and thought we would give it a try. We didn't have reservations for this Saturday night and they were very accomodating and fit us in. The menu was an Italian and Argentinian fusion. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a... More
