Simple tapas bar - as you would expect in Barcelona - except that it has a heavy focus on seafood and they do it with perfection - the fish is extremely fresh and the preparation is done with excellence you can't book - so you just need to go and wait in line!

Cal Pep is a real gem of a tapas bar in the heart of El Born. The service is warm and friendly and the chef's selection of various tapas was the best meal we had on our trip. Monkfish, steak and omelettes were standouts. Well worth the queue!

Amazing tapas!!!! You can order some tapas plates at your preference or you can let them surprise you. Both options work great! We recommend the meat with potatoes; the tuna; the croquetas; the scallions; the sea food plater... all is good! You can not go wrong with this tapas restaurant.
