Very innovative 9-course tasting menu. Some outstanding dishes. For €58 per person (wines extra but very reasonable priced) this is amazing value, especially considering that it is located in a top-10 city. I would single out the pears in red wine with herb foam as the outstanding dish. It was so stunningly different and so well-balanced that it would not... More

Acai in a lovely, small, familiar restaurant located few steps from Plaça d'Espanya. From outside it simply looks like a design restaurant, but if you step inside you'll find a couple of lovely guys, Anna and Manuel, ready to serve you the best dishes of the day. Here you can find a traditional and refined cousine and you can be... More

This restaurant is a gem in the heart of Poble Sec. I was absolutely impressed by the food, which is inspired in traditional Catalan dishes, prepared with local and seasonal ingredients of extraordinary quality and cooked to perfection. Still every recipe has a surprising twist! And not only the Chef is a great professional, the staff are very kind and... More

Anna won us over on our arrival, explaining that as our e-mailed reservation had not specified whether we wanted to eat in the formal tasting-menu area or the less formal side where we could choose from the carte she had kept places for us in both. We chose the former (not least because it looked more comfortable) and were rewarded... More

Its small and off the beaten path. Definitely not a tourist trap. The food is prepared and served by a husband and wife duo. Outstanding presentation, innovative menu and friendly. Also, the best gin and tonic I have ever had. As far as Barcelona restaurants go the price was very reasonable and the food is exceptional. You must eat here.

Acai is a cosy design restaurant in the up and coming neighborhood of Poblesec Montjüic. It is a favorite of ours and we go there often. The food is exquisite. The ingredients are bought fresh from the market each day and the chef creates the menu based on the food in season. It is not inexpensive, but it is great... More

My wife and I hit this restaurant after visiting the nearby CaixaForum. Tucked away on a small side street, this restaurant is worth seeking out. There are two sides of the restaurant, one more formal and that exclusively serves the tasting menu and a less formal side that allows you to choose items off the menu. We sat on the... More

My fiancée and I recently discovered Acai and we were delighted by the whole experience. The atmosphere is excellent. One can tell that there has been a lot of thought and care put in the design, inviting you to prepare for a delightful experience. Service was also excellent, Anna does an incredible job; she is knowledgeable and she will be... More

After a few days in Barcelona, we were a bit tired of the typical tapas, jamón, and seafood regimen. Looking for something a little different, we stumbled over reviews for Acai. Stumbling over the restaurant itself was a little more difficult. We had to stop and ask directions twice, both from hotel front desks who had never heard of Acai... More

Very nice small restaurant in the Montjuic / Parallel area. The staff is really friendly and food is simply great. We had the tasting menu, 9 courses and all were surprising.
