Nice place. Good food. Poor Service. They are either understaffed or just plain not nice. Went there the first night in San Sebastian. Was referred to it by our hosts the proprietor of Belles Artes Pension, Leidre. It was late and Bide Bide was open.

The food here is fantastic - great value for money. Atmosphere was great and good to have an english menu. Service not excellent but the food made up for it.
Service was good, an english menu was provided without the need to ask, although we were doing fine with the spanish version. The food is delicious, plenty of garlic. The place is loud with too much lighting to set a mood but we left happy.
Neatly tucked away amongst the last row of shops in the old quarter town (next to a kid's playground and the only cinema in town), Bide-bide is a great place to chill out.
While we enjoyed our courageous ventures into the different non-English speaking Spanish restaurants & bars and randomly selecting Spanish dishes only to find out what we've ordered...
