My wife and I went to Los Mellizos and we had the rosada and shared a plate of red pepper salad. The fish was great because we got two large and thick slices of the fish. In most places the rosada is served in small and thin slices.

This restaurant unlike many others does not try to grab you off the streets. They don't need to because it is a great place to eat. The wine was great (local white and sweet Malaga wine), the food (sea food and fish) was great and fresh. The waiters are very friendly and attentive.
As one of the reviewers rightly noticed, there is a deceptive advertising at the entrance: my wife and me also went for tapas which were offered at much lower price outside than indicated in the menu with full portions only once you sit at the terrace (no tapas at the terrace!). But this is typical for Spain: prices are different...

We were looking for just a light snack after our arrival and not a full meal, happened upon this restaurant in great location right beside our hotel which showed pictoral menu with half portions available. We sat down, ordered a glass of wine and started to study the menu - the wine arrived immediately - good service, but then we...

Try the carpaccio de bacalao, this is one of the reasons we often go their. Their pulpo a la Gallega is also one a the best we ever had. And those 2 plates with a nice bottle of Protos. What else do you want.
A pity they changed the light bulbs in the restaurant. Energy friendly, that's for sure. But...

Dinner was fried mixed fish and salad which was very good but we probably could have been a bit more imaginative if our Spanish fish vocab had been better. The illustrations on the menu were a bit dreary and so didn't really inspire or inform! Service was ok.
Get the plate of king prawns as a starter to share ; they were fantastic. We then went onto have seafood paella which was good. The only thing wrong with the restaurant is the unfriendly surly staff.
Thank you to Marco and all the staff for making our 2 nights such a great experience. Every bit as good as last year and we will be back again!
Although I live abroad, I am originally from this beautiful town and believe me, I enjoy good food- Los mellizos is a place that if you are in town you shouldn't miss- The cigalas a la plancha are spectacular as well as navajas and my beloved coquinas (the flavor is excellent although I wish they add more salsa for dipping)--If...

We were there on a recent trip to the city, on recommendation of the hotel staff. They have two floors, and also outside seating is available. Specialised on fish in all different varieties, often fried.
We tried Langostinos Pil Pil, very hot, sizzling and enough garlic, then followed by Brocheta Langostinos, which the waiter artfully displaced from the stick into...
