We missed it the first day because it is inside Madler's Passage, but we took the time to have lunch before we left Leipzig. Perfect atmosphere and authentic food. Great service.

I´ve been invited here on a business trip.
Since it is so famous I was looking forward to it, but in hindsight I had probably chosen a smaller an cosier restaurant. The restaurant is huge and quite loud.
Service is rather efficient and professional but also quite chilly. I guess I never saw even one of the staff similing all...

This restaurant has stood the test of time 100 times over. High-end German Ratskeller decor. Good, if old fashioned and reserved, service. Traditional German fare.
I had venison in a cream sauce with mushrooms, red cabbage and potato/bread dumplings which were light as a feather. I was completely satisfied with the food and price, which was about $40.00 with tip....

Good food in historic ambiance (think Mephisto). Not special, but worth it. A must go when in Leipzig.
Underground the Madler-stoa we were pleasantly surprised to find a so fantastic restaurant with so good service, great atmosphere and excellent food. We had a thee- course dinner ,everything was special !! Great experience ! Finally very satisfied !! Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. Menu slightly 'challenging' but the actual food was great. Good service
Two main courses of traditional saxony food, one roulade and one medallions of filliet of beef, €31 in total with the wine at your own discretion. What food what value and what a venue!!!!!!!

They set different buffet stations throuhhout and krpt the beer and wine coming to the tables. As a small party or lage group, thiz is...
