This is an old railway station converted to a brewery with some innovatively named and great tasting beers! They even have an outdoor area which is lovely if the weather is good! Good food too!

A traditional German restaurant not far from the city centre (trams 2, 9, and 16). Built in an old preserved 19th century railway station, it has a great atmosphere and nicely decorated in a way you would expect from a German restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the service is quite professional. The highlight for me is the beer brewed in-house,...

Set in a glorious train station from the recent past, this place is beautiful. The beer, brewed there, is a bit bitter and sour, but nice overall and the food we tried was very good. Good service and fair price made a nice comeback for me, after my first experience shortly after the opening in 2002.
Great Beer, Great Food in what was the Old Bayerischer Bahnhof Station Building. Well worth searching out.
Worth a visit if you find yourself in Leipzig. This place used to be the old railway station and now it's a complex of shops, bar, restaurant which has been done out in some style. The big attraction really is the beer. The have the local Gose beer which is certainly worth a try - a very traditional Saxony brew...

Great choice of foods and beers. Had a business dinner there and even though the place was crowded and quite noisy, it was a good choice. Restaurant is also quite close to center, so it was a nice walking distance back to the hotel.
We have been coming to Bayerischer Bahnhof over the last ten years. The food is consistently very good. At the moment it is hard to find the way in as they are doing works to make the train line go underground, but persevere, and it's worth it. There's a lovely outdoor eating area with a sand pit and slide for...

This is a little gem in the old Bayrische Bahnhof (aka railway station). It was almost decimated in 1915 when the Leipzig HBf (Main Station) was opened and took away the bulk of the passengers. However in it's heydays it was grand and modern with a typical portico, still visible today. In 2013 the Station will be connected by a...

Make sure you book. The food is excellent (rather salty, the others in my party thought); the beer, brewed on-site, is cloudy, as seems to be the norm in Germany, but very good. Good atmosphere; good staff and service.
Good atmosphere, great beers. You may want to reserve for food, as it was full when I was there.
