Fantastic food in a great restaurant. This place is really worth going to. Very friendly owner who took time to talk to his customers. After the great diner, we went to the pianobar. Great atmosphere with a superb live act.

Food was very good for our group of 15 but very slow due to time of year. No explanation or apologies, it is what is is. So be alerted, if it is busy you will wait for very good food. Wait staff i is friendly but not personable.

We had a nearly full moon evening beginning of September 2012, agreeable temperature. The Orangerie, a castle like building, was full of people eating and drinking and moon watching.
Good food, good choice, also for veggies, good drinks, good value for money, friendly staff. Recommended.
Have a stroll at the Karlsaue Park in front before or after lunch or dinner....
