Nothing to comment really, the food was perfect, the staff friendly and the prices good. Loved the atmosphere and the decoration of the restaurant. A Hamburg must.

Went with my wife on a Saturday night. Somehow my booking was lost but eventhough the restaurant was full, the manager fixed a window table for us. We ordered the 5-course wine menu and it was staggering! Great taste and fantastic service by the staff.

Reservation through Tripadvisor worked perfectly. Reception and service very polite and forthcoming. Food excellent. As the kitchen is "open" to the dining room, it can sometimes feel a bit noisy but on the other hand side its nice to see the chefs at work :-)

I know this is the no rated restaurant in Hamburg but my opinion would be "very good but not great" Ate here with several business colleagues recently and the Goats Cheese starter was excellent. Excellent restaurant, and one of the best service I ever experienced, especially on the Continent. Definitely recommended

Wonderful food, carefully prepared. The beef was tender, the ravioi was heavenly and don't even get me started on the desserts!

Food and service could not be faulted but it comes at a price. Sometimes hotel restaurants have no character, but this is not the case with Apples (I asked why the name but the waitress did not really know). I was able to have chestnut ravioli - a german cuisine here! I appreciate having food that you don't have 'round the world' served when I am visiting foreign spots!
