When we asked on arrival if there was room for two we were told rather abruptly, "I've no idea." Yes, it was busy but not a good advert for a welcoming Munich

This was a no go even if the waiter warned us prior to the order. If you go the restaurant you should have the right to take your meal at the same time as all the other people's of the table.

Great Biergarten with great atmosphere, very local place, very nice beer and reasonably priced food.

Although very busy, the staff helped us find room at someone else's table and provided an English menu - though there seemed to be less choice for some reason! Good choice for vegetarians and excellent authentic Bavarian food for the meat eater!

The restaurant Fraunhofer in the Fraunhofer Street in Munich has been part of my student life in Munich and still is worthwhile a visit nowadays. Perfect mixture of typical Bavarian been culture combined with excellent beer, food and atmosphere. In addition there are events in their own backstage theater. Bad service and too expensive.

Best atmosphere in town, nice theatre and stage but don't go there to eat (too big a menu and so everything average and nothing good)
