Description: An epicurean jewel. Elegant dining in a light, tidy atmosphere with unmistakable art deco lamps. The unusually creative composition of dishes of this highly regarded, fine French restaurant is simply irresistible. The excellent menus are highly recommended. Older regulars and pleasure-loving guests in their mid-thirties appreciate the expertise of the sommeliers and the wines that perfectly match the food - more than 300 to choose from! The comprehensive service is friendly and attentive.

This restaurant was such a find...literally! It is up an alley but don't give up looking, it is totally worth the few minutes extra. What a fantastic meal! The sommelier gave us great advice with the wonderful wine selection, the food was stunning & beautifully plated. I had spring deer (don't judge me!) which was delicious & the dessert of... More

Yes, you sit close to your neighbors but that actually was quite fun. Staff pays super attention to all details of the evening. The wine pairing has a great selection if whites and reds I would have never tried but were great. What a wonderful evening, will be back soon

The chef change from Stüttgen to Sebastian Heil hasnt made the Terrine experience less intersting. Cool Bistro classics like steak tartar, oysters or terrine if you are in a hurry and prefer to eat a la carte or the modern style chefs menu for. 85€ for 6 dishes, not expensive for Munich standards. A hidden gem in Munichs boring culinary... More

Before the new cook took over one could wait a good hour for the first course. No more, but perhaps because we were seven and had a pre-ordered menu. Still we arrived early (7:30p.m.) and didn't get out until 12:30. It was worth it though. The amuse bouche was a little strange with flavours I could not identify. Then came... More

We had high expectations and Restaurant Terrine did fulfill them. We ordered Chefs menu(6 courses) and wine menu. The wine did match the food perfectly for all courses. If you want a culinary adventure, this is the place for you.

First point - this is down a passage by 89 Amalienstrasse, rather than on the main street. But once we'd found it, we were caught up in the enthusiasm of the young staff and chefs. Great food - the vichyssoise is just perfect, and the staff were full of good comments and advice In advance. The very young wine waiter... More

We went for the full menu. The Chef was very inspired and surprised us in a positive way. Food was brillant and each course came with a different glass of wine. Wine was from Germany, France and Spain - top quality each time. A great place to have a fantastic dinner !

i had high expectations, after all this is deemed one of the gourmet venues of munich. no clue why and how they came to this fame, i found this place to be extremely mediocre and way below what u would expect of a famous restaurant. given the high prices, i would have expected to get a "culinary explosion" on my... This is a gem of a restaurant for food junkies like us. We had the surprise menu and it was everything you could ask for and more. Wine suggestions were knowledgable, staff were nice, easygoing, helpful and fast. Prices: Not cheap but not super expensive. Terrine is a bit hard to find though, but its worth the trouble. It is... What a wonderful experience, if you enjoy French style food, prix fix, and wine parings. Jennifer, the sommelier, was a delight. Service was impeccable, food, a gastronomic delight. A wonderful mix of tastes and textures, all done with a light hand -- including foam. Michelin rated, justifiably so. Guten appetit! Well worth the trip -- ask for directions a bit... More
