It is tiny, crowded and very odd selection of different ethnic foods. There is also no where to sit to eat.

A very nice variation of food at a great price. Very much enjoyed it. I tried the Iranian food as well as Argentinian food. The desser was tasty too

We went to the marketfhalle and selected dishes from various cuisines. Beer and wine were available. My son loved the fresh tortellini with ham and cheese at Il Boccone (in the corner).

If you are in Freiburg you have to visit the "Markthalle". Great food and drinks. Different in the morning, afternoon and especially at night.

The Markthalle is perfect for a group of friends who are a bit picky. There is something for everyone and the prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed the Alsace stand and had hands down THE best Nutella & banana crepe! It was perfectly done and very tasty. The downside is that this place is often incredibly crowded.
