I live around the corner from this place. I have eaten here a couple of times but I am obviously not recognized as today, at noon, when the restaurant was completely empty, the very snooty waitress looked at us as something the cat had dragged in, undoubtedly because we brought along our kids. Fully booked (never happened before) we asked:...

Cute restaurant in the old Nice with nice terrace. Very good typical food which is too rare in that part of town. My family is originally from Nice and I must say their raviolis reminded me of my grand mother's.
Ingredients are fresh and portions are very good... The only bad note for the restaurant is on the service side...

Papayou was a really great experience! Located in a cosy street of Old Nice, the restaurant offers amazingly good food! The staff is friendly and helpful. This was the only restaurant where we went twice during our 10 days vacation! Loved it! Absolutely highly recommended!

Had a lovely meal here, my friend and I were seated in the little side street outside the restaurant. The table was beautifully set and were brought olives and bread as we sat down. We went in here by chance after looking for somewhere to grab some lunch. i had lovely nicoise onion pizza, homemade and gorgeous followed by a delicious goats cheese salad. the bread was fresh and crusty, the rose was good and the bill was v reasonable. the waitress was also charming.

My husband and I ate here in September and have a wonderful main course of sea bass. The staff were charming and helpful and we were able to relax over our food and coffee and people-watch for as long as we wanted. The restaurant is closed from November to the end of March so unfortunately we'll miss it on our...

We found this place, near the flower market, by accident. We both had the mushroom risotto - one of the best we have tasted. The service was very friendly and helpful. We would have visited it again but the only opportunity was Monday lunchtime & it was closed.
