Great food in this cute little place. The meat was exquisite, and servis was friendly. I recommend to all who were disappointed by other restaurants in Cannes like I was.

We ordered this to wee what it was, and then ordered it again, it was so good. Very light pastry crust. The fish was excellent too. It's a small place, but nice and friendly with good English.
In Cannes there are not a lot of great places to eat due to the high through put of conference delegates whom a lot of Restaurants simply "churn and process". BUT this place is an exception , good cooking good service and well worth a visit.
Located port side in Cannes, this restaurant was jam packed on Easter Saturday night when neighbouring ones were deserted, and you can see why. The set menu at 29 Euros is absolutely excellent value, both for the quality of cooking as well as considering how pricey Cannes is. Service was professional and welcoming. It was a cold, wet evening in December and sometimes restaurants let their standards slip out of season. The good news was that everything was as perfect as it ever was at the Assiette Provencale. A warm friendly...

The restaurant is located along the Quai opposite the Marina. Since Cannes changed the street to No parking and widened the sidewalk, this area is quite nice. We sat outside under the canopy and enjoyed it immensely. You should make a reservation, even for lunch. While we were there for lunch, several people were turned away. The reason is that...

We tried the set menu (€29), which I don't normally do, but we were very, very impressed!
Lobster spring roll (good, nice and fresh tasting), prawn pasta (very nice, and 4 large prawns) and crème brulee (best one I've ever had).
Wine was good.
Service very friendly.
We've eaten at a few restaurants in Cannes and this was the best...
