The cuisine and the presentation are immaculate, and despite the name, the style is not stuffy. The dining tables are mostly in a cellar, but in no way dingy. The service and the attention to detail is however 'formal'.

Taking advice from friends and Trip Advisor, I booked lunch last Wednesday. The food is totally stunning, both visually and on the taste buds. With three courses plus a glass of wine for 26 euros at lunchtime, it is fantastic value, but the memories will last for ever (or at least till our next visit).

Despite good reviews we found no atmosphere, disappointing food presented as if it was haute cuisine and inexperienced service. Unusual to be asked how we wanted our grilled fish (sea bass) cooked - eg well done, medium or whatever ?! Very expensive for what it is, and you can do far better elsewhere in the town.
