Well - I asked some French ladies in the street for advice on eating in a good "foodie" restaurant. LUCKILY they recommended La Rapiere which is down a little alleyway and can't be seen from the street. Absolutely EXCELLENT food, great ambiance, very clean and very welcoming owners - what more can I say?

From the moment entering the restaurant until leaving , it was excellent. Very attentive service despite being a party of eight.Food was exquisite , well priced as was the wine. Book in advance as probably wont get in and you will only find it by accident if you are walking down the main street.

The four of us crossed over the channel over the Easter bank holidays for a 'food holiday' so we researched and went to some of the best rated restaurants in Brittany and Normandy and this was unanimously voted as the besy of the lot!! The food, wine, service, setting was all excellent - great experience - Just do it!

We took the lunch menu, very good value, well cooked & presented, along with an excellent choice of half-bottle wines. Perfect coffee to finish.
