Serves pretentious fancy french cuisine that you can make at home. Pro: Near the cathedral Con: Waitress was not friendly. Food was not up to standard. Feels like microwaved meal. Meat was not juicy or tender. We ordered a menu that had a starter + main. At then end of the meal, still felt hungry (portions were not sufficient), so... More

Had a lovely lunch here on a day trip to vist the tapestry and cathedral. Small but beautifully prepared chicken dish. A lovely little restaurant next to the Cathedral. Excellent service -went way beyond what I'd expect. Really made me feel very welcome. Obviously the people working there have great pride in the place.

We had lunch at Le P'tit Resto after a friend from Bayeux recommended it. It is a small restaurant so worth booking. The staff gave us a lovely welcome and the food was interesting and good, well priced as well. Many of the restaurants around the Cathedral are basic to say the least so it was wonderful to find this... More

Innovative artistic haute type French cuisine. If this is not your thing, you will not enjoy this quaint restaurant located near the Norte Dame Cathedral. We had no idea what we were to experience at this restaurant - recommended by Anthony from Hotel Tardif. Fabulous meal from start to finish. The fun highlight was "pop-rocks" on my chocolate mousse dessert!

Yummy cuisine, beautifully presented. For those who want to try "real" Norman cuisine, updated, this is the place!

After walking around Bayeux on a Saturday night we managed to get a table with no reservation. The food was fantastic. It came with all the little quirky things like: foam, small cups filled with strange flavours and the occasional random little treats between the main courses. We had the foie gras with some green foam, mains of scallops and... More

We had a really fantastic meal here in September, discovered the restaurant whilst exploring Bayeux, after reading the menu we had to go back for dinner, it's only tiny but that makes for a better experience. The food is a little adventurous but it works, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we chose, even arguing over who had what so that we... More

For a far out gourmet meal try this small family run restaurant featuring inventive dishes and quirky decor. Everything is displayed like a work of art and you will not be disappointed with any choice that is offered. Even the steamed cod was a masterpiece.

My wife and I were in Bayeux for an overnight visit and, having read the favorable reviews of Le P'tit Resto on Trip Advisor, decided that we would like to try the food (or should I say "cuisine" to satisfy critical reviewers from Basingstoke)? For 22 euros we both had codfish, carrot puree, and a medley of vegetables which were... More

We were recommended this resteraunt and had a fabulous lunch on a special occasion. We received a lovely friendly welcome in coming in a busy restaurant on a Friday lunchtime. Soon after being seated we were given menus, asked what we would like for an aperitif and soon a cheerful waitresse returned with our drinks and left us just the... More
