This is what modern Paris dining should be about. My wife and I turned up without a reservation but were found a place with no fuss and made welcome by young and non-stuffy servers. Main courses of cod and chicken were great, preceded by a complimentary gazpacho. Desserts were great - creem brulee and a millefeuille with the thinnest pastry... More

On the strength of many tripadvisor comments I chose the Au Bon Coin. Was not disappointed. It's a small restaurant tucked away on a small back road off the main drag where most of the tourists go. The folks working there were very friendly and outgoing, and their English was good. After placing our order they brought us out a... More

I just came back from a wonderful trip in Paris. I was lucky enough to eat at the Au bon coin twice, so I tried the lunch offer as well as the evening a'la carte. For lunch I had poached eggs in a delicious chorizo sauce and my main course was a piece of "bavette" meat (don't know the english... More

We chanced upon this restaurant after failing to secure a seat at a 'guide' restaurant, and it delivered from start to finish: perfect Spanish-style omelette, bean, cod, and bacon main, and portions of just the right size. Would certainly go again.

This was a great restaurant, tucked away near Les Gobelins metro station. We were made very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. From our table we could see into the kitchen, which looked very clean. I have coeliac disease, and having done my homework, this restaurant was one that was recommended as one that could cater for me, and... More

This restaurant is tucked away off a side road near Les Gobelins metro station / Blvd Port Royal (on Rue petit Moire) and is a real gem amongst loads of other expensive and average touristy restaurants near-by. I only wished we had dined there more than once whilst in the area. The waiting staff were very attentive and helpful explaining the... More

We were staying close to Notre Dam and got a taxi down here for about 7 Euros. The food was easily as good as we've had in most 5 star hotels or more expensive restaurants and at a reasonable price- 32 Euros for 3 courses. The Duck Fois Gras starter was unbelievable! Service was also great. We were there for... More

Late on Saturday, after long journey, stumbled upon this great little restaurant. Really busy, but squeezed us in (only quibble would be v small table). Lovely food ( I had perfectly cooked duck breast - crispy on outside, super juicy & pink on inside), and staff were lovely.
