My girlfriend and I had dinner there during a romantic getaway for my 30th birthday. We went to the restaurant upon reccomandation, and we were really happy that it lived up to our expectations! Food was delicious - the rumpsteak in cognac sauce and green pepper was absolutely fabulous. The restaurant is small, cozy and with a intimate atmosphere. Service... More

Arrived quite early to find cosy, atmospheric restaurant. Soon filled up, with a diverse but fun crowd of folks "from all walks". Very helpful staff, relaxed but efficient. Good menu with lots of tempting dishes & specials. Great value meal with tasty starters, delicious mains and moreish desserts. Notably delicious bread! Would recommend booking, bring cash (no credit cards accepted),... More

Situated down the hill from Montmartre and close to the Pigalle metro, it's a good option for a friendly Parisien meal which doesn't cost the earth. The food is simple and good, not the best French food in Paris but good and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and very relaxed. The atmosphere is very chilled and I very much... More

This small restaurant in the centre of Paris feels like you have walked into an auberge in the french countryside, the staff were excellent and the food some of the best I have tasted in France, simple but excellent in its production. Steak with rich sauce, cheeses oozing flavour and the ever delicios french bread! I would recommend this restaurant... More

We wanted to like this place, we really, really did! Sure the atmosphere was drafty and kind of dingy, but the reviews made us believe that the food would make up for it. My husband ordered the andouille starter, and he literally could not eat it. This man has eaten and enjoyed all manner of entrails and offal in his... More

My Mum and I really enjoyed our meal here. Fantastic cosy atmosphere with warm, welcoming staff and simple, delicious food made from fresh produce. Good value at €28 for three course meal and the Sauvignon house wine washed all the flavours down perfectly. Suitable for couples, a group of friends or family. The staff seem to love the Irish too... More

We went here after seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor. Although I thought the wines a little pricey the food was excellent. No fancy menu, just a hand-written sheet on a clipboard, with 6 each of starters, main and desserts to choose from, 24€ for 2 courses or 28€ for 3. The food was delicious, obviously from fresh ingredients and well... More

Like the protagonist from the film to which this restaurant's name pays homage, this smallish, tasteful spot in an otherwise bustling area of the city boldly but quietly serves up authentic and organic french cuisine at reasonable, prix fixe prices and quantities. The waitstaff is laid-back, unrushed and personable (and somehow sported a Pat Green T-Shirt, giving the night a... More
