Sat at a tiny table for 2 and ordered the vegetable quartet and the fish quartet for starters, each at 26 Euro. Clearly, the kitchen does not love a vegetable, even less a quartet of same. The asparagus was OK; the Vietnamese Spring roll the sole star. The "Greek" vegetables - aka carrots - and when did you last see... More

We decided to go to this restaurant as the menu outside looked good with an attractive price 44€. We reserved and were put in the room that we had asked for.. (a group of 4) 1st problem, the 44€ menu is only avaiable after 21:30, but you need to be a very tall to have seen this information. The menu... More

A very professional service, an excellent carrot-shrimp soup and the best, and simplest mille-feuille ever tasted!

Such a pleasant experience. Staff were very attentive and very helpful. Sommelier recommended a lovely wine to accompany the food. Good menu choice; starters and dessert consist of 4 micro dishes for a variety of flavours. Swanky interior, but not very Parisian. That isn't a negative, but we could have been sat in any quality restaurant anywhere.

Still a lovely setting, reasonably good service but what happened to the kitchen? The choucroute has been cooked too many times, no taste and the sausages were not good (Mr Westerman I can't remember than in Alsace we put "boudin" with the choucroute?). The starter looked and was under average again with no taste. We booked after beeing confirmed over... More

Wonderful experience. Service was excellent and food was creatively inviting. Nice stroll from the Opera. Charming neighborhood.

Dined here last holiday, and service and menu were terrific. Back for New Year's Eve and the evening was a special treat. Started with a terrine of scallop and caviar, followed by a spectacular foie gras wrapped in a leafy chard envelope and floated in an aromatic chicken broth. Fish course, then pheasant were delicately seasoned and perfectly served-and the... More

I am a left bank person, having spent accumulated time there over two years, but if I am going to my bank around Place d'Opera, I absolutely must go to Drouant. This Westerman standard has for the first time patron a creative grouping of four appetives (e.g., "Les quatre coins du monde") which capture some theme. Les legumes des printemps... More

The place must have been good at one point because it has a lot of write-ups. Both good and bad. I was wary because there seemed to be a lot of bad ones and I understand why. This is like a bad hotel cafe. Mediocre food, unconscious service. My friend ordered the turbot for us to share. She misread the... More

A very good rating for this restaurant but that's the result of some things averaging out. The food itself was quite good. Not outstanding. The 4 part appetizer had some interesting flavours but the one that was a small soup was lukewarm at best. My wife had quite a good salad as her main. I had a very good steak... More
